Saint-Philemon, November 16th, 2022 – At the dawn of a promising winter season, it is with great enthusiasm that Station touristique Massif du Sud announces the arrival of a new shareholder and President, Pierre-Yves Charest. A growing developer-builder from the Quebec City area, Mr. Charest will become the main partner of the resort, in collaboration with Alain Contant, owner since 2005.
Development of a sustainable 4-season recreation and tourism destination.
Pierre-Yves Charest, president and CEO and founder of Contraste Immobilier and OÏKOS Construction, has completed several high and low density residential projects in the greater Quebec City and Lévis areas. A strong interest in recreation and tourism has motivated this new involvement, and the goal is to make the Station touristique Massif du Sud a renewed destination, while remaining true to its origins and local culture.
The former President and General Manager of Station touristique Massif du Sud, Alain Contant, will remain with the company as Chief Executive Officer to ensure continuity. He will participate in the development as an advisor to the new team.
