This job will give you the opportunity to learn and practice lift mechanics.
As part of their duties, apprentice mechanics take part in the maintenance, inspection, improvement and repair of ski lifts. He/she also ensures compliance with the company’s vision, values, policies and procedures, including Z98 requirements and occupational health and safety.
Main duties :
- Assist lift mechanics in inspection, maintenance, anomaly detection and and repair of ropeways;
- Work at heights at times;
- Carry out routine inspections (checking structures for cracks and rust, checking for cracks and rust, checking electrical and hydraulic components, motor checks, etc.);
- Prepare and carry out inspections of hand ropes and sheave trains (disassembly, cleaning, assembly);
- Perform preventive maintenance;
- Complete reports;
- Operate machinery (all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles);
- Carry out any other tasks required for the smooth running of the company assigned by his or her superior.

– Available to work on weekdays and weekends of operation;
– With or without experience (possibility of obtaining required certifications).
– A minimum knowledge of mechanics would be an asset.
