Born of a shared love of ska, punk & reggae music and a post-pandemic need to play, sing, dance and party, a group of Montreal friends and musicians set up a project for fun: Ska Sound System.
Made up of members of Montreal bands (Grimskunk, Me, Mom & Morgentaler, Colectivo, Francbâtards, FoOlish, Van Hornies and Blue Monkey Project), this band has no other ambition than to get people singing, dancing and tripping to the diverse old-school and modern ska, punk and reggae music of bands like Sublime, The Clash, The Specials, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Toots & the Maytals, Madness... and a few Grimskunk classics.
