Terms and Policies

Booking conditions

The tenant undertakes to respect the terms and conditions of the rental contract at the time of booking, by checking this box: “I acknowledge having read and accepted without reservation the General Terms and Conditions of Sale”. Checking this box has the same value as a handwritten signature.

Minimum booking of 2 consecutive nights during the winter season. Possibility of booking a single night (last-minute booking in winter season).

Cancellation policy

For cancellations received TWENTY-ONE (21) DAYS OR MORE before the scheduled date of stay, the rental deposit will not be refunded. However, the tenant may use this amount as a credit towards a new reservation within the year.

For cancellations received TWENTY-ONE (21) DAYS OR LESS prior to the scheduled arrival date, the accommodation fee will not be refunded. The total amount paid by the tenant will be forfeited.

Cancellations due to weather or snow conditions are subject to the general rules.

*Note: However, for each cancellation received TWENTY-ONE (21) DAYS OR LESS before the scheduled date of stay due to force majeure: government travel restrictions, natural disasters, epidemics, military action and other conflicts preventing the customer from arriving at the rental unit reserved, 100% of the rental amount may be used as a credit towards a new reservation within the year, in the same rental unit chosen at the time of reservation. The tenant will then have to submit a supporting document in order to benefit from the deferral of 100% of the rental amount.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per accommodation unit is required for each rental, to cover possible damage to the rental unit and for environmental complaints. If the damage exceeds this amount, we will contact the customer, who will be responsible for the amount of the damage and for covering administrative costs. Hébergement Massif du Sud will charge the amount to the customer’s credit card. Hébergement Massif du Sud undertakes to destroy the credit imprint after the customer’s departure, but only after verifying to its satisfaction that the conditions set out below have been met.

Conditions for taking possession of the rental unit

The customer will be contacted (or will contact) Hébergement Massif du Sud a day or two before arrival.  Hébergement Massif du Sud will then send an e-mail with arrival instructions (postal address of accommodation, internet code, emergency number during stay, rules to follow…). The tenant will take possession of his accommodation from 4pm onwards, and will leave it by 11am at the latest on the day of departure. It is the customer’s responsibility to lock the doors and return the keys to the designated location. A charge of $25.00 will automatically be applied if the keys are not returned on departure.
