Booking conditions

The renter must sign the rental agreement and return it upon receipt to confirm the reservation. Minimum reservation of 2 consecutive nights during the winter season. Possibility to book only one night (last minute booking in winter season).

Cancellation policy

For each cancellation received TWENTY (20) DAYS OR MORE before the scheduled date of stay, the deposit made at the time of rental will not be refunded. However, the renter will be able to use this amount as a credit to make a new reservation within the year.

For each cancellation received TWENTY (20) DAYS OR LESS prior to the scheduled date of stay, the accommodation fee will not be refunded. However, the renter will be able to use 50% of this amount as a credit to make a new reservation within the year.

Temporary rules for each cancellation received TWENTY (20) DAYS OR LESS prior to the scheduled date of stay and whose reason is related to COVID-19 (government restrictions, illness, mandatory isolation, etc.), lodging fees will not be refunded. However, the client will be able to use 100% of this amount as a credit towards a new reservation within one year, if the client can demonstrate that the reason for the cancellation is directly related to the COVID-19 and that the cancellation prevents the client from attending the rental unit they have booked.

Cancellations due to weather or sliding conditions are subject to the general rules.

Guarantee deposit

The client must sign a GUARANTEE DEPOSIT slip to cover possible damage to the rental unit and for environmental complaints upon arrival in the amount of $1000.00 (credit card indorsement). If the damage exceeds this amount and any damage done voluntarily, we will contact the customer who must assume the amount of the damage and the coverage of administrative fees. Hébergement Massif du Sud will charge the amount to the client’s credit card. Hébergement Massif du Sud will destroy the credit imprint after the customer’s departure, but only after verifying to its satisfaction that the conditions set out below have been respected.

Conditions for the possession of the rental unit.

The client will be contacted (or will contact) Hébergement Massif du Sud, a day or two before their arrival. Hébergement Massif du Sud will then send him an e-mail with instructions for his arrival (postal address of his accommodation, internet access code, emergency number during his stay, rules to follow). The client will take possession of his accommodation from 4pm, and will leave it at 11am maximum on the day of departure. It is the client’s responsibility to lock the doors and return the keys to the designated location. (if applicable) A $25.00 fee will automatically apply if the keys are not returned upon departure.

Conditions of the client’s commitment

  1. The rented premises must be in the same condition as when the client took possession;
  2. The client must ensure that the rental unit and its equipment are in good condition;
  3. The client authorizes Hébergement Massif du Sud to use the security deposit to cover broken or missing items as well as any excess costs related to the uncleanliness of the rental unit, if applicable;
  4. No animals will be tolerated in the rental unit under penalty of a $500.00 fine;
  5. Please note that Hébergement Massif du Sud is not responsible for power, telephone, running water, cable TV failures, or bad weather that is not conducive to mountain operations;
  6. All the rental units are non-smoking;
  7. The client must respect the 11:00 p.m. curfew every day for the peace of mind and respect of all guests in the lodging.
  8. The person making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and be present during the entire stay. A valid photo ID will be required at the time of registration.

The conditions are only for the purpose of enumeration and not restrictive. Hébergement Massif du Sud maintains all legal rights in the event of damage, theft or other.
