The ski lift attendant is a service employee whose job is to ensure the smooth operation of ski lifts and to perform the operations required to board and disembark skiers and snowboarders in order to ensure the safe use of ski lifts.


Main duties :

  • Participate in the opening and closing of ski lifts;
  • Ensure smooth operation;
  • Report any anomalies to immediate supervisor;
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of guests;
  • Ensure customer distribution and queue management;
  • Maintain lift loading and unloading areas;
  • Other related duties outside winter season.

 

Hiring requirements :

  • Good physical condition;
  • Good tolerance of cold temperatures;
  • Good powers of concentration, analysis and observation;
  • Enjoy teamwork;
  • Ability to communicate well with customers;

Come join our team! We are currently looking for maintenance staff for our main chalet as well as for our rental accommodation.



The attendant must provide customers with the most pleasant environment while maintaining cleanliness.


Main tasks :

  • Performs all assigned interior housework according to standards;
  • Sweep, wash floors and stairs;
  • Vacuum, dust and tidy;
  • Collect waste and bring it to containers;
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms;
  • Clean and disinfect the cafeteria and all common areas;
  • Clean assigned accommodation according to standards;
  • Take the initiative to add a personalized experience to our customers;
  • Take responsibility for respecting the privacy and personal belongings of customers, while ensuring exceptional service;

Responsible for making artificial snow, the snowmakers are creative, tech-savvy professionals who set the stage for an epic snow season!



 


Main tasks :

  • Drive all transport vehicles in accordance with operational procedures Standard ;
  • Use snow pumps, compressors, manual and automated snow guns;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of snowmaking equipment and adjust it when necessary ;
  • Carry out rounds to ensure that snow production is carried out in accordance with expectations to ;

Snowboarders and skiers wanted!



The Massif du Sud snow school is looking for snowboard and alpine ski instructors who have a taste for passing on their passion.


Main tasks :

  • Welcome the client(s) wishing to take a ski or snowboard lesson;
  • Teach techniques and good practices;
  • Complete student progress sheets in group classes;
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of skiers and snowboarders.

    Description of skills :

  • Minimum age required 15 years;
  • Be comfortable with customers;
  • Love teamwork;
  • Be ACMS, PEPN or PESG certified

Join the Massif du Sud team! We are looking for a hands-on, resourceful, and reliable person to support our outdoor operations: ski lifts, infrastructure maintenance, brush clearing, operating machinery, etc.



Your main responsibilities will be to assist the maintenance team with:



Ski lifts (climbing towers, monitoring and checking each component according to the outdoor operations manager's maintenance schedule)



General site and buildings (light carpentry, painting, minor repairs)



Grounds & trails: brush clearing, mowing/trimming, occasional drainage, installing nets/markers, trail maintenance (summer) and preparing areas (winter).



Machinery & vehicles: safe driving (ATV, snowmobile, tractor, snow groomer), daily inspection and minor maintenance.



Safety & quality: compliance with procedures (PPE, working at heights, confined spaces), tracking work orders.



Project/event support: assembly/disassembly, handling, and simple logistics.



What you need to succeed



Relevant experience in general maintenance, outdoor operations, and/or machinery.



Valid Class 5 driver's license and good driving record.



Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, good physical condition.



Resourcefulness, sense of priorities, autonomy, and team spirit.



Assets (not mandatory) :



Workplace first aid, WHMIS, working at heights, chainsaw training, experience with ski lifts, basic mechanical skills.
