FAQ

Course schedule

Where and when should I show up ?

If you are renting equipment : arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the class. Meeting point : in front of the main chalet (posters by groups). Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the start to meet the instructor.

Is there a break during the class ?

Yes, depending on the duration, the temperature, and the needs of the participants. The Shack-Squatch, located at the bottom of the beginner slope, allows for a break without returning to the lodge.

Can parents attend the class ?

Parents cannot attend the class, but they can accompany a young beginner for the first downhill runs if necessary. However, it should be noted that it is highly recommended for the parent to be absent during the class for more receptive and easier learning.
An observation area is set up near the beginner slope and the Bunny Hill.

What is a first lesson like for a beginner ?

Our instructors gently introduce the equipment and basic techniques : braking, turning, stopping — in a safe and playful environment.

How many students per group ?

Small groups of 2 to 5 for young beginners. Groups of 6 to 8 for more advanced levels.

Can I choose the monitor ?

Yes, you can make a specific request — subject to availability.

Can we change groups during the season ?

Yes, if the level does not match, but we prioritize a good initial assessment to avoid frequent changes.

Can we switch disciplines (ski ↔ snowboard) ?

Not recommended during the season, as it disrupts the group's progress.
