Registration

Objectives:

Introduce participants to ski touring in a safe environment.
Inform participants about the required equipment.
Raise awareness of mountain safety.
Work on effort management.
Improve uphill technique.

Schedule:

Welcome and preparation:
Assistance with equipment and gear check to ensure everyone’s safety.
Technical explanations:
Presentation of key technical concepts and guidelines for both the ascent and descent.
Ascent:
Hands-on practice of uphill techniques, with short educational discussions along the way to correct and guide participants.
Summit:
Brief gathering at the summit to discuss the experience and share additional tips.
Descent:
Fun and safe descent, adapting technique to touring equipment, which differs from standard downhill gear.
Final regrouping:
Return and debrief with participants to answer questions, share successes, and identify areas for improvement.
